Yet you bought a six pack...
ReplyDeleteNot exactly. This sentiment has been weighing on me since college...
ReplyDeleteIf I were anything else in Milwaukee -- say, a tree on a corner or a building or a triangle of cheese -- I might feel sort of like I have to try harder, looking at that six pack. Because if a particular thing has been deemed "best," then that says to me, as a tree, or wedge of cheese, you're not quite there yet. Try harder. So I would.
